In a group of 5 members, select the design of one of the members in studio 3. Working in a group, we are required to re-design the roof of that building by using truss designs. By using any material of your choice, construct the model of your design. The size of the model must be appropriate to fit well on an A2 board.

The board have to incude the brief description of the selected building and roof design, design of the roof truss (plans, perspective drawing, cross section, or any relevant diagrams), reflected ceiling plan to indicate the load imposed, connection details of the truss. Besides that, we have to produce a physical model and a set of calculation exercise. 

This building is selected from semester 3 final our studio work , a Visitor Interpretive Center. This building is my design and it iwas selected because of it is organic shaped roof so will be more interesting and challenging for the truss design. We used two typed of trusses, which are bowstring and pitched flat howe truss, due to the difference in inclination.
