In a group of 5 to 6, under the same tutorial group, each group is required to choose a design of Centre for The Elderly studio 4 among our group members. Each group is to perform a thorough study and analysis of the following services systems associated to the building: mechanical ventilation, air-conditioning system, protection system (active and passive fire protection system), mechanical transportation system (elevator and escalatord travellator systems)

It is entirely up to the group members to delegate the tasks to each of this assignment is to familiarize the students with the application of in the design proposals. This exercise will also demonstrate the students' understanding in applying what we have learnt from the module the work progress to the submission of the reports. The requirements of the project are as follows: the required building services components to applied in the building. Perform a thorough study on all the services systems: i. mechanical air-conditioning system fire protection system (active protection system) iv. mechanical transportation system (elevator and escalatord travellator systems). Obtain estimated dimensions and sizes spaces required for all the equipment and plant rooms identified explanation on how the building services function. Summarize the systems in diagrammatic form and perform some research on building services literature/materials.
