A Project

This involves the application of the principles, issues and theories discussed thus far in the Project Management module, and their application into a simple construction project. In a group of six (6) members, your task is to design and manage a simple construction project in a way that emphasizes COST, QUALITY or TIME, with a measurable ‘success criteria’. In addition to the above components, the groups will be assessed via their performance each week in the six (6) mock client-consultant meeting (CCM) that will take place from week 2 to week 7. Each member will be required to conduct a meeting on a rotation basis.

Four (4) components in total (5% each):

 Introduction, Expanded organizational chart, Conclusionwith 1 case study

 Design (Analysis, Proposal), Success Criteria

 Project scheduling & monitoring -Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) / Gantt Chart

 Minutes of meetings, meeting agendas
