Retreat house is a place for people to get away from the hustle and bustle city life, trying to get some quietness and refresh themselves after a short period of time. First of all, we got our client with a personality, and mine is a SERIOUS HIKER. OVERLAPPING HOUSE is a design just for a person which is loacted near the hiking trek, an area surrounded by trees. It provides basic facilities, like living room, bedroom, kitchen, working space, and also a quiet and privacy to the house. The concept of the house is verticallity, order, and connectivity. One space for one activities and using the only staircase to connect all the sapces in one. Using the different of height based on the functionality of the house. Orientated the sapces according to the sun path, and the daily routine of the client. Verticality suit with the hiking continutious vertical goes up exercises.
